At UKG, we are dedicated to creating a culture of belonging and an employee experience that empowers our people, both at work and at home. The Cloud Infrastructure team plays a crucial role in managing UKG's data network infrastructure, which includes routers, switches, firewalls, network taps, tools, load balancers (both physical and virtual), and public cloud networking. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for providing sound problem determination and resolution, documenting methodologies, and possessing thorough knowledge of data network management. Your role will involve executing hardware and software installations, performance tuning, and recovery processes. You will be expected to improve, innovate, and create enhancements to existing processes and policies, ensuring that our network infrastructure remains robust and efficient. This includes procuring, tracking, and renewing SSL certificates issued by Trusted Certificate Authorities (CAs). Clear, consistent, and accurate documentation of network topologies and standards is essential, including adherence to ISO and other related standards and regulatory compliance. You will also be part of an on-call rotation and may need to work on projects outside of normal working hours. Your responsibilities will extend to project tasks related to provisioning, break-fix, enhancements, and new initiatives, as well as maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting all migrations and changes to the environments. You will troubleshoot network issues using packet analysis tools and other standard network tools, coordinating with domain architects as necessary. Routine operational tasks such as device backups, code management, configuration compliance, reporting, and environmental and performance management will be part of your daily activities, all while adhering to security policies. Additionally, you will coordinate with product and business stakeholders to understand network requirements and plan implementations accordingly.
