About the position

The Lead Compensation Consultant at Nike will work closely with the Global Compensation team and business-facing HR partners to provide expert advising support for Nike's compensation programs. This role is pivotal in aligning compensation strategies with business functions and ensuring effective communication and consensus-building among various stakeholders. The consultant will manage projects with manageable risks and resource requirements, leveraging their compensation expertise to influence programs and processes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on Compensation Strategy for assigned business functions in alignment with the Global Compensation Strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted specialist for other compensation initiatives, programs, and processes.
  • Support fellow Compensation teams focused on program design and collaborate with HR partners on various compensation areas.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge and experience advising on Compensation-related topics to enhance employee experience.
  • Partner closely with business-facing HRBPs, senior business leaders, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • 5+ years demonstrable experience in compensation including program design, market surveys, compensation operations, and business advising.
  • Ability to act as a leader for colleagues with less experience and coordinate the work of other staff members when needed.
