About the position

The Lead Compensation Consultant will work closely with the Global Compensation team and various business functions to provide expert advising support for Nike's compensation programs. This role involves collaborating with HR Business Partners and business executives to ensure alignment with the Global Compensation Strategy while addressing compensation-related challenges and initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for managing projects with manageable risks and resource requirements, making informed decisions within established guidelines, and influencing compensation processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Compensation Strategy for assigned business functions in alignment with the Global Compensation Strategy.
• Serve as a trusted specialist for compensation initiatives, programs, and processes.
• Support Compensation teams on program design and collaborate with HR partners on various compensation areas.
• Provide in-depth knowledge and experience advising on Compensation-related topics to enhance employee experience.
• Partner closely with HRBPs, senior business leaders, and other stakeholders to drive compensation strategies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
• 5+ years demonstrable experience in compensation including program design, market surveys, compensation operations, and business advising.
• Ability to act as a leader for colleagues with less experience and coordinate the work of other staff members when needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in communicating complex compensation issues to non-experts.
• Familiarity with compensation tools and annual compensation calendar processes.
