About the position

The Compensation Analyst role at Cboe involves leading the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and policies. This position requires analyzing jobs, salaries, and incentives to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and legal compliance. The role is pivotal in transforming raw compensation data into actionable insights and providing consulting services to HR and Talent Acquisition partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting services to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition partners on compensation best practices.
  • Review and recommend offers to new hires and adjustments for current staff.
  • Lead the execution of complex compensation matters and processes, including biannual promotions and annual merit increases.
  • Review new and revised job descriptions to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Support the development and administration of compensation programs by ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Employ statistical analysis techniques to interpret compensation data and develop reporting processes.
  • Lead periodic compensation projects and develop related communications.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and maintain documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation best practices and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data visualization.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday and CompAnalyst.
  • Familiarity with compensation practices in Europe and APAC countries.
