About the position

The Lead Compensation Partner at Cboe is responsible for designing, implementing, and administering compensation programs that ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and legal compliance. This role involves analyzing compensation data to provide actionable insights and consulting with HR and Talent Acquisition partners on compensation best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, benchmarking, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Analyzes jobs, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, market competitiveness, and legal compliance.
  • Provides consulting services to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition partners on compensation matters.
  • Executes complex compensation processes including biannual promotions and annual merit increases.
  • Reviews new and revised job descriptions for compliance and accuracy.
  • Supports the development and analysis of compensation programs, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Employs statistical analysis techniques to interpret compensation data and develop visual aids.
  • Leads periodic compensation projects and develops related communications.
  • Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and maintains documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related discipline and minimum of 8 years of related experience or Master's degree in HR, business, or a related discipline and minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation best practices, principles, methodologies, and theories.
  • Demonstrated analytical, customer service, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.

  • Experience with Workday and CompAnalyst.
