About the position

The Lead Consultant for Professional Services at AT&T is a senior-level role responsible for leading technical projects and architecting solutions for clients. This position requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively. The consultant will engage in consultative activities from client identification to project completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary project lead and architect for consulting engagements.
• Consult on project activities from client identification through final invoicing.
• Fulfill billable consulting service projects and act as a subject matter expert.
• Lead an engagement team or serve as the sole consulting resource on projects.
• Identify problems, define system architecture, and specify hardware/software requirements.
• Implement, test, train clients, and deploy solutions.
• Create recommendations and implement new methods and techniques.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in planning, design, and implementation of complex networks.
• Experience in secure network technology planning, design, and integration.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to develop Visio designs and cohesive deliverables.
• Proven leadership, accountability, and reliability in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree and industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or PMP.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SDN, Juniper, Velocloud, VMware/Virtualization, and/or IoT.
• F5 experience for load balancing.
• Experience in network virtualization technologies.
