About the position

The Lead Consultant in Professional Services at AT&T is a senior-level role responsible for leading technical projects and architecting solutions for clients. This position requires a seasoned consultant with strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively. The consultant will engage in consultative activities, assess network environments, and create cohesive deliverables while following established methodologies. The role also involves mentoring junior consultants and staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical primary project lead and architect for consulting engagements.
• Lead consultative engagements, assessing network environments and architecting designs for data center and network solutions.
• Create meaningful and cohesive deliverables for clients.
• Participate in or facilitate status meetings and report project status.
• Complete all administration, reports, and mandatory compliance training on time.
• Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and participate in National Practice operations and training calls.
• Mentor and coach other consultants on the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in planning, design, and implementation of complex networks.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or PMP.
• Strong leadership, documentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate complex networking engagements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SDN, Juniper, Velocloud, VMware/Virtualization, and/or IoT.
• F5 experience for load balancing.
