About the position

The Lead Consultant in Professional Services at AT&T is a senior-level role responsible for leading technical projects and architecting solutions for clients. The consultant will engage in consultative activities from client identification to project completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to established methodologies. The role also involves mentoring junior consultants and staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative engagements and assess network environments.
• Architect designs for data center and network solutions.
• Create cohesive deliverables and documentation for projects.
• Participate in status meetings and report project status.
• Complete all administrative tasks and compliance training on time.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members.
• Implement new methods and techniques for project efficiency.
• Stay abreast of marketing trends and participate in National Practice operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in planning, design, and implementation of complex networks.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or PMP.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to lead complex networking engagements in large environments.
• Experience with internetworking technologies, including IPv4 and IPv6.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SDN, Juniper, Velocloud, VMware/Virtualization, and/or IoT.
• F5 load-balancing experience.
• Strong documentation skills with Visio designs/diagrams.
