About the position

The Lead Consultant for Professional Services at AT&T is a senior-level role responsible for leading technical projects and architecting solutions for clients. This position requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively. The consultant will engage in consultative activities from client identification to project completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to established methodologies. The role also involves mentoring junior consultants and staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative engagements and assess network environments.
• Architect designs for data center and network solutions.
• Create cohesive deliverables and documentation for projects.
• Participate in status meetings and report project status.
• Complete all administrative tasks and compliance training on time.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members.
• Stay abreast of marketing trends and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in planning, design, and implementation of complex networks.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or PMP.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to lead complex networking engagements in large environments.
• Experience with internetworking technologies, including IPv4 and IPv6.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SDN technologies and network virtualization.
• Knowledge of load-balancing technologies, particularly F5.
• Experience with Cisco ACI SDN technologies.
