About the position

The Lead CSR/Teller at Fifth Third Bank is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing complex banking transactions. This role involves addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting bank products and services. The Lead CSR/Teller also plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with bank policies, while fostering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer care regarding daily transactions and problem resolution.
  • Promote good customer relations by ensuring premier customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer business and follow ethical guidelines.
  • Perform daily office responsibilities to maintain efficient operations.
  • Approve cash withdrawals and check signing, as well as ace transactions and night deposits.
  • Train and develop new and existing CSRs as needed.
  • Monitor CSR operations and delegate work as necessary.
  • Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and refer them to business partners for product sales.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of CSR experience with in-depth knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced math functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and teamwork skills.
