About the position

The Lead Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Teller position is designed to provide excellent customer service in all interactions while managing complex duties with considerable independent judgment. This role is accountable for risk management and ensuring a positive customer experience by adhering to the Bank's policies and procedures. The Lead CSR will deepen customer relationships, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with the Financial Center Manager to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and deepen customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and follow up to find solutions to issues.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with customers.
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer business and adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Center Manager for monthly cash counts and FCA requests.
  • Perform daily office responsibilities to maintain efficient operations.
  • Maintain a balancing record in line with policy and assist others as needed.
  • Stay updated on bank policies and financial center procedures.
  • Assist in training newly hired Customer Service Representatives.
  • Identify customer needs during interactions and refer them to appropriate bankers and business partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Extensive cash handling experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Flexibility in scheduling.
