As the Lead Cybersecurity Engineer for Operational Technology at Jacobs, you will be at the forefront of industrial cybersecurity, focusing on securing high criticality operational technology systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that these systems are protected from design through deployment, allowing you to leverage your expertise in Cybersecurity of Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems. You will be part of a team that supports the Jacobs delivery lifecycle, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and conducting assessments to identify risks and propose mitigation measures. Your work will directly impact the security of industrial systems that are essential for our clients' most important programs. In this position, you will lead a team of cybersecurity engineers, guiding them in evaluating, testing, and remediating ICS/SCADA OT systems. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and proposing effective solutions in collaboration with infrastructure program teams. Your role will also involve participating in cybersecurity assessments, leading on-site visits to review facility cybersecurity postures, and developing technical memorandums. You will design cybersecurity offerings that align with NIST, NERC CIP, and other contemporary cybersecurity standards in ICS environments, ensuring that system and network data remains secure and visible. Additionally, you will work closely with sales and operations teams to integrate cybersecurity and risk reduction into new contract opportunities and ongoing programs. Your hands-on experience with ICS cybersecurity will be crucial as you design and integrate SCADA and OT systems with modern security architectures.
