About the position

The Lead Cybersecurity position at AT&T is a development role focused on safeguarding the company's assets through effective cybersecurity measures. The individual will participate in scrum team ceremonies, write and review secure code, and provide documentation during audits. This role also involves troubleshooting security issues and supporting various cyber-related projects, making it essential for the candidate to have a strong understanding of cybersecurity risks and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Write code for IT systems involved with IAM and UAM solutions.
  • Participate in ideation, testing, proof of concept, and support for various cyber-related projects.
  • Prepare and provide necessary documentation and responses during audit processes.
  • Analyze complex security issues and develop engineering activities to mitigate risk.
  • Recommend hardware and software solutions to fit AT&T's cybersecurity needs.
  • Develop policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion and malware events.
  • Apply measures to block malicious code and applications.
  • Conduct forward-looking research and planning to strengthen defenses against future cybersecurity threats.

Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.
  • 5-8 years of related experience in cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot 3.x+, Spring JDBC Template, log4j, JUnit, Oracle DB, GITHUB, JFROG, JSON, Tomcat, Apache.
  • Strong scripting knowledge.
  • Experience with File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) process and enterprise Identity Lifecycle Management.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Python, and Apache server.
