About the position

As a Lead Data Analyst at Hims & Hers, you will play a crucial role in shaping the customer experience through high-quality experimental design and hypothesis testing. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, particularly focusing on A/B testing and digital analytics. You will lead a team in curating the experimentation roadmap and enable data self-service, ultimately enhancing the digital experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design experiments and provide actionable and scalable recommendations from the results
  • Deliver in-depth analyses that are statistically sound and easily understood by non-technical audiences
  • Curate the experimentation roadmap for the product and growth teams
  • Enable data self-service by designing templates that are easy to understand using relevant KPIs
  • Collaborate across analytics, engineering, and growth teams to improve the customer experience
  • Distill knowledge of tests into playbooks for transforming the digital experience
  • Identify causal relationships in data using advanced statistical modeling
  • Segment users based on demographic, behavioral, and psychographic attributes
  • Align analytics initiatives with broad business objectives to build long-term value
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer specific business questions and provide actionable recommendations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of analytics experience
  • 5+ years of experience in A/B testing
  • Experience working with subscription metrics
  • Strong work ethic and drive to learn
  • Strong organizational skills with aptitude to manage long-term projects
  • Expert SQL skills
  • Extensive experience working with data engineering teams and production data pipelines
  • Experience programming in Python, SAS, or R
  • Experience in data modeling and statistics with knowledge of experimental design
  • Development and training of predictive models
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization and BI in Looker or Tableau
  • Ability to explain technical analyses to non-technical audiences

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with price testing and modeling price elasticity
  • Experience with telehealth concepts
  • Project management experience
  • DBT, airflow, and Databricks experience
