This individual acts as the primary owner of solutions across the Enterprise Operations Environment (EOE), influencing and driving data initiatives. A key aspect of this role involves evaluating the reusability of existing data for different analyses and advising executives on developing functional strategies that are often segment-specific. The Lead Data Architect exercises independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues, working with minimal supervision and requiring a thorough analysis of variable factors to determine the best course of action. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data architecture solutions that meet business needs.
  • Translate business strategies and objectives into data products.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Reporting, and IT teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide insights and analytics to support projects and change initiatives.
  • Act as the primary owner for data solutions across the Enterprise Operations Environment (EOE).
  • Evaluate the reusability of current data for separate analyses.
  • Advise executives on developing functional strategies based on data insights.
  • Exercise independent judgment on complex issues related to data architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAFe Agile certification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of data analytics experience.
  • Experience in using statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform complex data into analytic solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing diverse problems of varying complexity.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in insurance.
  • Proficient in developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to create reports, projections, and presentations to support business needs.
  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
