The Lead Data Architect at Infinitive will play a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape of the organization. This position involves developing and aligning target data models with the priorities of the business and finance units. The Lead Data Architect will work collaboratively across various teams to implement the overall data strategy, ensuring that semantic technologies and data governance practices are effectively promoted and utilized. The role requires a deep understanding of data modeling and strategy, where the architect will define target state data models and develop governance standards that align with the finance business priorities. In addition to technical expertise, the Lead Data Architect will engage with stakeholders to build strong relationships with data and technology teams, ensuring that the data strategy is in sync with enterprise goals. This includes owning design decisions in collaboration with the Chief Architect, developing modeling and protection standards, and documenting key modeling principles. The architect will also be responsible for creating and prioritizing a long-term roadmap focused on business outcomes, which will span 12 to 18 months and involve alignment with cross-functional teams. Another critical aspect of this role is the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) for ontology and data modeling. The Lead Data Architect will refine strategies based on data insights and adjust to the organizational impacts of these strategies. Mentorship is also a key responsibility, as the architect will develop and guide team members on ontology and data modeling practices to scale efforts across the Finance organization. Furthermore, the architect will harmonize data with enterprise semantics, adhere to W3C standards, and maintain an awareness of industry trends to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of data architecture practices.
