About The Position
As the Lead Data Engineer for Machine Learning Operations at Travelers, you will spearhead the MLOps initiatives within Business Insurance Analytics and Research, focusing on accelerating the model lifecycle. This role encompasses the development of reusable templates and components, automation, and other technical processes as necessary. You will be involved in both traditional machine learning deployments and advanced artificial intelligence processes, including imagery, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs). Given the rapidly evolving nature of the MLOps space, this position requires a continuous reassessment of current and future capabilities. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise to the broader Business Insurance Actuarial and Analytics community, particularly in testing approaches for technology upgrades and process optimization tools (POTs).
