About The Position

As the Lead Data Engineer for Machine Learning Operations at Travelers Insurance, you will spearhead the MLOps initiatives within the Business Insurance Analytics and Research team. Your primary focus will be to enhance the model lifecycle through the development of reusable templates and components, automation, and other technical processes as required. This role encompasses both traditional machine learning deployments and advanced artificial intelligence processes, including imagery, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs). Given the rapidly evolving nature of the MLOps landscape, you will be tasked with continuously reassessing current and future capabilities to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technology. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise to the broader Business Insurance Actuarial and Analytics community, particularly in testing approaches for technological upgrades and processes.
