About The Position

The Lead Data Integration Analyst at Caris Life Sciences is responsible for interfacing with both internal and external systems to integrate data efficiently. This role focuses on ETL generation, reengineering existing ETL processes, and ensuring timely delivery of data and reports. The analyst will work closely with the Data Integration Team, requiring expertise in Microsoft SQL Server environments and strong technical leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Ten plus years of experience in application programming in relevant coding languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and associated services (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
  • Strong knowledge of core Microsoft SQL Server operations.
  • Extensive experience coding SSIS packages and ETL across platforms via ODBC or Linked servers.
  • Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Ability to work independently and solve application software problems.
  • Ability to coordinate and execute application testing for complex applications.
  • Strong background in IT technologies, security architecture, and system life-cycle phases.
  • Familiarity with programming, testing, web development, and Object Oriented Development methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or PHP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the data and report lifecycle from analysis to implementation.
  • Complete product technical design and prototyping, including bug verification and resolution.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop data and reports.
  • Provide technical direction on major products and formulate system concepts and architecture.
  • Interface with business data analysts to capture full requirements for change requests and defect resolution.
  • Provide task and project cost/effort estimates.
  • Adhere to departmental and corporate standards.
  • Communicate effectively with programmers on complex projects.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of reports and associated data into production.
  • Create testing harnesses and documentation to support high-quality product releases.
  • Perform code fixes for documented defects and maintain multiple web applications.
  • Continuously learn and apply best practices for application performance.
  • Provide support for existing data and reports delivery until retirement.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced peers.
  • Accept other duties as assigned.
