About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst to support quality control activities aimed at mitigating risks associated with validation failures. The role involves designing complex analyses to enhance data quality, advising on corrective actions, and representing the organization in cross-functional groups to develop data governance strategies. The analyst will also evaluate data quality metrics and enforce accountability for deliverables, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality issues.
  • Support the definition and implementation of a framework to review and validate supervisory program deliverables.
  • Lead the review of corrective action plans and remediation strategies to identify validation risks.
  • Represent EDGR in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies.
  • Define and execute validation plans for supervisory deliverables, including issue summary memos and related artifacts.
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and audits, enforcing accountability for deliverables.
  • Define and implement metrics and reporting to highlight validation progress and quality of deliverables.
  • Train and support business groups in developing similar functions and processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management.
  • 4+ years of experience with data testing and/or related audit methodologies.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in supporting development and execution of data testing approaches.
  • Good knowledge of internal banking processes and audit methodology.
  • Excellent critical thinking abilities and communication skills.
  • Ability to build domain knowledge and overall business acumen.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.
