About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst for the Commercial Lending Data Product (iHub) within the Commercial Banking and Lending Domain. This role involves complex analysis of datasets, data mapping, and data validation, translating this information into actionable requirements that align with the enterprise data strategy. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive large-scale projects, ensuring optimal performance and design of data product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis of datasets, data mapping, and data validation.
• Translate data analysis into tangible requirements for implementation in the iHub ADS.
• Drive line of business priorities to deliver multiple complex large-scale projects.
• Provide leadership to other consultants and analysts in program integration and implementation.
• Lead complex strategic initiatives with broad impact across multiple functions.
• Make decisions in complex situations regarding data and analytics needs.
• Collaborate and consult with peers and managers to ensure optimal data product solutions.
• Manage complex datasets focusing on consumer needs while adhering to data governance.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between data management, product teams, and architecture teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial banking.
• 3+ years of SQL experience.
• Knowledge of database querying and ad hoc reporting using SQL or similar methods.
• Understanding of data governance challenges and approaches.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).
• Experience using business knowledge and critical thinking skills for project impacts.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Techno-functional skills with exposure to various banking products.
