About the position

The position involves serving as a subject matter expert in data management, advising the Office of the IC Chief Data Officer on governance and interoperability across the Intelligence Community. The role includes developing and implementing data management initiatives and policies, and acting as a strategic advisor to senior government leadership, ensuring alignment between mission needs and policy outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Office of the IC Chief Data Officer on data management matters.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement data management initiatives, strategies, and policies across the Intelligence Community.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior government leadership.
• Interface between technical experts and government leaders to align mission needs with policy decisions.
• Explain and implement best data practices from various sectors.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years with a Master's; 3 years with a Ph.D.; or equivalent experience.
• Experience with US federal data management standards and policies.
• Demonstrated data management skills including plans, governance, and maturity models.
• Experience developing policies, strategic plans, or action plans.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience working with government officials managing competing equities.
• Experience coordinating complex concepts across diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of National, Intelligence Community, and Department of Defense data policies.
• Experience developing data acumen products and learning guides.
