About the position

The Lead Data Scientist will play a crucial role in advancing healthcare innovation through data science. This position is designed for an experienced professional who will lead complex projects involving machine learning, predictive analytics, and data analysis to enhance diagnostic technologies. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that align with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on developments in data science, machine learning, and medical diagnostics.
  • Lead the development and implementation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Conduct deep data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights for product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into product development and clinical trials.
  • Author comprehensive reports communicating findings and insights from complex datasets.
  • Deliver presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders to guide decision-making.
  • Provide recommendations on data strategies to ensure scalability, security, and integrity of data processes.

Requirements

  • PhD and 5+ years experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
  • Expert proficiency in Python programming using software engineering principles.
  • Experience in data transformation and creation of data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, research-oriented environment.
  • Full fluency in English.
