About the position

The Lead Data Warehouse Developer at Beth Israel Lahey Health is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse solutions, data lakes, and cloud analytical platforms. This role involves collaborating with various clinical and IT teams to ensure effective data management and reporting capabilities, while also adhering to organizational standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise data warehouse and cloud data platform.
• Implement data management solutions using SQL, Unix, Python, and ETL tools.
• Maintain and support data stores for reporting and analytics.
• Coordinate with clinical and IT groups for successful project completion.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis and provisioning against source systems.
• Design ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Assist in data architecture design for Business Intelligence and analytics.
• Document technical specifications for data integration and architecture.
• Perform unit testing to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience with Informatica Power Center, SQL Server, SQL, PLSQL, and ETL design.
• 2 years of experience with AWS services including S3, data pipeline, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure services like Data Lake and Data Factory.
• Knowledge of Dimensional and Data Vault Modeling.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
