About the position

The Lead Delphi Developer will be responsible for leading the migration of a legacy Delphi 7 system to Delphi 12, which will be containerized and deployed on Kubernetes. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can manage the technical aspects of the migration while ensuring compatibility with modern deployment practices. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing mentorship to junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the migration of Delphi 7 applications to Delphi 12.
• Design, develop, and deploy applications using Delphi 12, ensuring compatibility with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the migration and deployment process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers on the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the migration process.
• Ensure that best practices and industry standards are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of proven experience as a Lead Delphi Developer, with a strong background in Delphi 7 and Delphi 12.
• Experience with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server environments and deployment as DLLs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
