About the position
The Lead DevOps/Cloud Engineer will focus on analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise data and information architecture deliverables. This role emphasizes the importance of data as an asset for the enterprise and requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the delivery of valuable data and information. The position involves working with automation production systems and API gateways, as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting production issues.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop enterprise data and information architecture deliverables.
- Administer and configure API Gateways (e.g., Apigee/Kong).
- Apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
- Design, develop, and implement integrations based on user feedback.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
- Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure improvement in applications and timely completion of products.
- Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems, procedures, and data security.
- Deliver quality customer service and resolve end-user issues in a timely manner.
- Draft architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and other design documents.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Automation Production Systems (Ansible Tower, Jenkins, Puppet, or Selenium).
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Experience with software development methodologies and SDLC.
- Possess a problem-solving attitude and can work independently.
- Must be very organized, able to balance multiple priorities, and self-motivated.
