About the position
The Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of DevOps practices within the organization. This role requires a strong background in Information Technology, particularly in DevOps methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment. The position emphasizes continuous integration and delivery, leveraging cloud technologies and containerization to enhance software development processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of DevOps practices and tools.
- Design and implement Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Utilize cloud technologies, particularly AWS, for infrastructure management.
- Implement containerization solutions using Kubernetes.
- Develop scripts in Python to automate processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
Nice-to-haves
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible for continuous deployment.
