About the position

The Lead DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting complex DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines for various application technical stacks, particularly in the context of Public and Hybrid-Cloud-driven digital transformations. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the development and operational processes are secure, efficient, and aligned with the company's commitment to providing financial opportunities to all individuals and communities. The role allows for a flexible work environment, enabling 100% remote work or a hybrid schedule from any of the major office locations. In this position, the Lead DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for developing new solutions and maintaining existing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the organization. The engineer will provide extensive hands-on support for the administration and configuration of the DevSecOps platform, which includes researching and developing potential system solutions and evaluating vendor products and services as necessary. The role requires independent work on medium-scale projects and problem-solving exercises, collaborating with developers, engineers, and architects across the organization to develop effective solutions. Additionally, the Lead DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for providing rotating on-call support for production infrastructure and applications, as well as business hours support for development systems. This collaborative role will require working closely with all IT functions to ensure seamless integration and operation of DevSecOps practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support DevSecOps solutions for Public and Hybrid-Cloud-driven digital transformations.
  • Develop new and maintain existing complex CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines solutions.
  • Provide extensive hands-on support for the administration, configuration, and overall support of the platform.
  • Research and develop potential system solutions, including evaluating product and/or vendor products and services when needed.
  • Work independently on medium-scale and complexity projects or problem-solving exercises.
  • Work across the organization with developers, engineers, and architects to develop solutions.
  • Provide rotating on-call support of production infrastructure and applications and business hours support for development systems.
  • Collaborate with all IT functions.

Requirements

  • Proven ability in writing code for Java, NodeJS, .NET languages, and frameworks like Spring and Angular.
  • Experience writing script languages in Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Golang, MSBuild, Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Extensive hands-on experience integrating Maven, Gradle, package managers like NPM and JSPM, build tools to application builds and troubleshooting build issues.
  • Proficient in various technical container stacks including Apache, JBoss, node module, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Docker, and RedHat container tools like Skopeo, Buildah, and Podman.
  • Experience working with SonarQube, JFROG Artifactory, XRAY, GitHub/Bit Bucket/GitLab, and SecOps tools like Synk is required.
  • Extensive working experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Container orchestration Platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, frequently collaborating with multiple teams for solutions support, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge of Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kiali is a plus.
  • Experience working in the Ansible Automation platform would be a plus.
  • Certification in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Azure Administration preferred.
