About the position

The Lead DevSecOps Engineer at DTCC plays a crucial role in the Enterprise DevSecOps (EDSO) team, focusing on designing, building, maintaining, and supporting software and platforms that enhance IT Software Delivery, Operational, and Resiliency Programs. This position emphasizes the implementation of DevSecOps and automation principles across the organization, ensuring effective support and maintenance of DevOps products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain DevOps products, tools, and services for continuous integration and deployment capabilities.
  • Analyze issues and failures in products and services to identify root causes and remediation actions.
  • Lead incident and problem management, collaborating with teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base, process, and procedure documentation.
  • Implement proactive monitoring of tools and infrastructure to reduce unplanned outages.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance software features through CI/CD processes.
  • Maintain health, monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools in collaboration with SMEs.
  • Demonstrate high performance in customer service, collaboration, and execution.
  • Provide after business hours and 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Support training of team members on EDSO products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of related experience in IT.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience using DevOps tools to automate software development processes.
  • Application development experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Angular.
  • Experience in application or infrastructure support.
  • Administration experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, Fortify, SonarQube, and Nexus.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, Git, Maven, OpenShift, Chef, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Scripting/programming experience in Groovy, Python, Terraform, Bash, KSH, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services including compute, networking, and security.
  • Implementation experience in CI/CD and DevOps operations for Agile projects.
  • Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management ITIL processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working experience with tools such as Tomcat, Kibana, Splunk, WebSphere, and Power BI.
