Civitas Agency, a marketing, public relations, and government advocacy firm located in Downtown Nashville, is seeking a highly talented and self-motivated graphic designer to join our agency. The ideal candidate MUST be located in Middle Tennessee with availability to work in our Downtown Nashville office 3 days a week. Our client roster is comprised of local and state governments, conservative political advocacy economic development organizations, trade associations, and civic-minded advocacy organizations. This is a “one-man-band” style role, so the candidate needs to be knowledgeable in all aspects of design. Simply put, we're looking for a "Swiss Army Knife" multifaceted designer. In this role, you will lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of visually appealing websites that align with client goals and brand guidelines. You will develop user-centric website experiences in Figma and Webflow by employing UX principles, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping. Presenting design concepts and strategies to clients will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to effectively communicate the rationale behind design decisions and address feedback. Additionally, you will create engaging static images and animations for social media platforms, ensuring they align with the brand's visual identity and objectives. Preparing advertising campaigns, including ad visuals, banners, and promotional materials, will also be part of your duties, as you work to effectively communicate the brand's message and engage the target audience. You will utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, to design and produce high-quality assets for various marketing and promotional purposes. Collaboration with teammates to develop creative concepts and campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement will be essential. You will ensure all design deliverables meet project timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.
