About the position

As a Lead Digital Product Manager at Optum, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our Enterprise digital payments product. This position focuses on enabling seamless health payments and financial experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, prioritize features, and ensure successful execution of the digital roadmap. Your contributions will significantly impact our digital product portfolio, shaping the future of our offerings and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the strategic vision for the Enterprise digital payments product, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation and design to development, testing, and launch.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles, supporting user research and usability testing to inform product decisions.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital products, iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation.
  • Lead and define product strategy, digital best practices, roadmap updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably in the digital payments or e-commerce domain.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role with a proven track record of successfully leading initiatives and delivering digital products or services that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Understanding of payment processing, integration with platforms like Stripe, and digital wallet technologies.
  • Pronounced strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, UI/UX design principles, and digital marketing concepts.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices, with experience in leading agile product teams.
  • Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, or similar.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
