About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager (Product Owner) to oversee product management and customer alignment for the Business Direct Data Mart (BDDM) within the Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology division. This role focuses on enhancing the customer experience through the nCino platform, which integrates various systems for business lending. The Product Owner will define processes, roadmaps, and product outcomes while leading scrum teams to deliver exceptional omni-channel experiences and measurable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Product Owner for the Business Direct Data Mart (BDDM) scrum team, establishing Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Minimum Releasable Product (MRP) releases.
  • Review and analyze business needs, leading story refinement and prioritization to deliver solutions for business processes of moderate to high complexity.
  • Make decisions in complex situations involving market dynamics, trends, and regulatory impacts.
  • Oversee risk management to meet deliverables and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery teams to resolve issues and achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Owner experience, product development, strategic planning, process management, or change delivery experience.
  • Experience with complex data platforms and data product ownership.
  • Experience with Agile practices and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and LeSS, as well as collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Experience leading a scrum team with accountability for backlog development, refinement, and prioritization.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex material to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to synthesize and distill complex problems.
  • Process engineering experience.
  • Financial services experience, specifically with Small Business Lending.
  • Change management experience.
  • Knowledge of technology project management for cross-platform projects.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment.
