About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Segment Digital Strategy Lead who will play a pivotal role in synthesizing digital strategic context across various functional areas. This position is designed to identify and promote digital product and partnership opportunities that align with the needs of one or multiple business lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for building trust-based working relationships to enhance the feedback loop between the Commercial Banking (CB), Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Digital team, and the respective business line. In this role, the Segment Digital Strategy Lead will cover the end-to-end digital needs and opportunities of a business line, synthesizing cross-functional information to provide a comprehensive and coherent digital strategy. The individual will identify digital opportunities for self-service and business transformation, supporting communications with business lines at both executive and team levels. Additionally, the role involves identifying external partnership opportunities with Fintechs and financial services providers that address client needs. The candidate will consolidate feedback on existing digital solutions, review product activation and service call data for the segment, and workshop business priorities, data, pain points, and business transformation opportunities with the business. They will assess various digital opportunities for financial impact, client impact, and feasibility in collaboration with Digital Product teams, building business cases and models to assist with prioritization. Building strong working relationships with business line stakeholders, product stakeholders, and activation and enablement teams is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Cover end-to-end digital needs and opportunities of a business line
  • Synthesize cross-functional information to provide a comprehensive/coherent digital strategy for the Segment
  • Identify digital opportunities for self-service and business transformation
  • Support communications with business lines at executive and team levels
  • Identify external partnership opportunities with Fintechs and financial services providers that solve for client needs
  • Consolidate feedback on existing digital solutions, review product activation and service call data for the segment
  • Workshop business priorities, data, pain points and business transformation opportunities with the business
  • Assess various digital opportunities for financial, client impact and feasibility in partnership with Digital Product teams; build business cases and models to assist with prioritization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice-to-haves

  • Digital strategy experience in financial services or fintech companies
  • Familiarity with Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking products and services
  • Digital strategy consulting experience
  • MBA or similar relevant academic degree
  • Substantial experience with Microsoft suite of products to develop executive level communications
