About the position

The Lead Digital Product Manager at Allstate Technology Solutions is responsible for translating strategic vision into actionable products, particularly focusing on Generative AI-powered solutions. This role involves leading a team of Digital Product Managers, driving product development from conception to execution, and ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear vision for Generative AI-powered products, aligning with business goals and market trends.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop the product management practice within Digital Product Managers.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define what needs to be true to meet intended outcomes, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs.
  • Advocate and design for seamless user experiences, from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience building ML/AI-powered products.
  • Extensive track record of taking a product from vision to inception to scale.
  • 3+ years working in Google AI, Azure Cognitive Services, AWS Machine Learning, with hands-on experience.
  • Experience integrating Generative AI into products, with a focus on executing and scaling products with Generative AI.
  • 3+ years working on data-heavy products.
  • 3+ years management experience developing product management skillsets.
  • Proven experience optimizing AI at scale.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., iterations, point systems, refinements).
  • Comfort operating in an agile environment with ambiguity.
  • Extensive experience storytelling product strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Navigate complex data landscapes, leveraging insights to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to independently analyze and query data to find insights and understand patterns, with working knowledge of SQL and some coding skills (Python) being a plus.
  • Deep expertise with machine learning principles, enabling effective communication with data scientists and machine learning engineers.
