About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner to join the Network Security team within the Chief Technology Office. This role is pivotal in transforming teams into high-performing agile units and delivering enterprise-wide value. The Product Owner will be responsible for the product vision, roadmap, and investment strategy, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers while prioritizing the backlog and collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs, and initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.
• Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience areas, requiring a strong understanding of business policies and compliance requirements.
• Develop, evolve, and communicate the product area vision, priorities, and strategy while managing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Establish, communicate, and monitor product area goals and performance indicators.
• Identify and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to communicate product area vision and solicit feedback.
• Facilitate collaboration between customers, stakeholders, and teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Engage in industry, technology, and customer ecosystem research to prioritize key findings into the product area backlog.
• Own the prioritization of the product area backlog aligned to vision and goals.
• Identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas.
• Inspire and guide high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Maintain consistent communication with product leadership and team members.
• Work closely with product managers, technical leaders, and business leaders to create customer value with connectivity and cryptographic services.
• Collaborate with lead Agilists to transform the team into a model state for product and portfolio management.
• Manage risks and dependencies across multiple Agile and non-agile teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital product management experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of experience as a product owner supporting technology teams in a large, matrixed environment.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
• 5+ years of experience with Jira, Confluence, or other workflow and collaboration tools.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience leading large scale, complex product portfolios with broad scope and impact.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures applying Agile framework within an Infrastructure role.
• Experience in backlog development (prioritization and grooming, authoring stories).
• Experience with web application firewalls, API security, network fundamentals, load balancers, DNS, and network firewalls.
• Experience transitioning teams to agile product and portfolio management.
• Experience with application delivery services including web application firewalls.
• Experience with cloud technologies enabling shift from on-premise infrastructure.
• Experience with Network and Security Services automation at scale.
