About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner to join the Network Security team within the Chief Technology Office. This role is pivotal in transforming teams into high-performing agile units and delivering enterprise-wide value. The Product Owner will be responsible for the product vision, roadmap, and investment strategy, ensuring timely delivery of products while collaborating with delivery teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs, and initiatives with broad enterprise impact.
• Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience areas, requiring a strong understanding of business policies and compliance requirements.
• Develop, evolve, and communicate the product area vision, priorities, and strategy while managing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Establish, communicate, and monitor product area goals and performance indicators.
• Identify and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to communicate product area vision and solicit feedback.
• Facilitate collaboration between customers, stakeholders, and teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Engage in industry, technology, and customer ecosystem research to prioritize key findings into the product area backlog.
• Own the prioritization of the product area backlog aligned to vision and goals.
• Identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas.
• Inspire and guide high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Maintain active communication with product leadership and team members.
• Work closely with product managers, technical leaders, and business leaders to create customer value with connectivity and cryptographic services.
• Collaborate with lead Agilists to transform the team into a model state for product and portfolio management.
• Manage risks and dependencies across multiple Agile and non-agile teams.
• Act as a key participant in large-scale planning and review digital strategy for product areas.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital product management experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of experience as a product owner supporting technology teams in a large, matrixed environment.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
• 5+ years of experience with Jira, Confluence, or other workflow and collaboration tools.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience leading large scale, complex product portfolios with broad scope and impact.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures applying Agile framework within an Infrastructure-focused role.
• Experience in backlog development (e.g., prioritization and grooming, authoring stories).
• Experience with web application firewalls, API security, network fundamentals, load balancers, DNS, and network firewalls.
• Experience transitioning teams to agile product and portfolio management.
• Experience with application delivery services including web application firewalls.
• Experience with cloud technologies enabling shift from on-premise infrastructure.
• Experience with Network and Security Services automation at scale.
