About the position

The Lead Digital Product Senior Manager at Allstate Insurance Company is responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and execution across multiple products within a platform. This role involves managing the product portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment of roadmaps, and negotiating work sequencing based on enterprise priorities. The manager will focus on delivering Protection Production Services products and advancing the vision for the Connected Consumer Cloud, while also measuring performance and communicating success to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drives overall product vision, strategy, development, and execution, including product definition and initiative/roadmap development.
  • Uses customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on product strategy decisions.
  • Drives collaboration in creating complex products and their features, advocating for great omni-channel experiences.
  • Defines and manages metrics to measure the success of efforts and inform overall product strategy.
  • Partners regularly with executive stakeholders and presents to executive leadership.
  • Collaborates closely with business teams to represent user and company needs, acting as the product expert.
  • Works closely with engineering, architecture, user experience, customer experience strategy, and design to ensure quality and consistency of experiences.
  • Leads and facilitates direction and collaboration with leadership and internal stakeholders to determine product priorities and sequencing.
  • Focuses on leveraging an iterative test and learn approach for user insights, design, and development.
  • Identifies opportunities arising from new technologies.
  • Authors, tests, and accepts user stories.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management or related field.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in shipping software and delivering great customer experiences across channels and touchpoints.
  • Expertise in operating in an environment driven by KPIs and accountability for meeting goals.
  • Proven ability to validate backlog concepts through customer-centric thinking and rapid iteration.
  • Experience in tracking product-specific analytics and measuring product success.
