About the position

The Lead Digital Product Manager at Allstate is responsible for driving multiple products across a platform, focusing on iterative development and value generation. This role involves owning the product portfolio strategy, aligning roadmaps, and managing the lifecycle of products to meet customer and company KPIs. The Lead Digital Product Manager will also enforce performance measurement across the product portfolio and communicate the collective success of the products.

Responsibilities

  • Drives overall product vision, strategy, development, and execution, including product definition and initiative/roadmap development.
  • Uses customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on product strategy.
  • Drives collaboration in creating complex products and their features, advocating for great omni-channel experiences.
  • Defines and manages metrics to measure the success of efforts and inform overall product strategy.
  • Partners regularly with executive stakeholders and presents to executive leadership.
  • Collaborates closely with business teams to represent user and company needs, acting as the product expert.
  • Works closely with engineering, architecture, user experience, customer experience strategy, and design to ensure quality and consistency of experiences.
  • Leads and facilitates direction and collaboration with leadership and internal stakeholders to determine product priorities and sequencing.
  • Focuses on leveraging an iterative test and learn approach for user insights, design, and development.
  • Identifies opportunities arising from new technologies.
  • Authors, tests, and accepts stories.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management or related field.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong inclination towards action with experience in shipping software.
  • Ability to work with remote teams across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Track record of delivering great customer experiences across channels and touchpoints.
  • Expertise in operating in KPI-driven environments and making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and transparent communication.

  • Experience in digital product design and development.
  • Familiarity with customer journey analysis and management.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories and conducting user studies.
