About The Position

CTF Illinois is looking for caring, dependable, and motivated people to join our team. Together we can empower each person we support with developmental disabilities to live the life they want to live. As a lead direct support professional, you will provide support and guidance as an experienced DSP. You will ensure each person's Personal Plan is implemented and choices on their life are offered and respected. A DSP's responsibilities include:

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License w/good driving record
• Certified DSP with at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with developmental disabilities in their home with daily living skills such as medication administration, meal prep, cooking, dressing, hygiene, and keeping their home clean.
• Encourage the people they support to be active in their community by assisting them in attending events, clubs, and shows, and visiting local establishments like their favorite restaurants and shops.

Benefits

• Lead DSP's earn $21.00 per hour once training is complete.
• Set Schedule! Monday-Friday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM. No Weekends!
• Benefits for full time DSP's include: contributory medical, dental, vision, supplemental life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and short-term disability effective 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
• Employer paid $20,000 life insurance policy for full-time employees
