About the position

The Lead Director, Enterprise Strategic Planning & Operations (Chief of Staff) at CVS Health is a pivotal role within the Enterprise Strategy organization, focusing on driving strategic, operational, and fiscal initiatives in the rapidly expanding Health Care Delivery business unit. This position is designed for a high-level individual contributor with the potential to evolve into a managerial role as the business grows. The Lead Director will collaborate closely with executive leaders, manage cross-functional projects, and support the development of strategic communications for senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic planning and lead cross-functional strategic projects in partnership with senior leadership.
• Identify opportunity areas for Health Care Delivery (HCD) to grow and formulate strategic and operational business plans.
• Lead special projects including executive-level presentations, innovation partnerships, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the EVP of HCD to manage the portfolio, leadership team meetings, budgets, and department-wide communications.
• Develop communication vehicles to assist senior executives in conveying strategy to internal and external audiences, including C-Suite leaders and the Board of Directors.
• Support HCD priorities such as goal setting in collaboration with the Vice President, Enterprise Strategy, and facilitate large-scale meetings and strategic workshops.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience at a top-tier management consulting firm.
• 3+ years' experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and other productivity software.
• 3+ years' experience building executive-level deliverables, such as story-lining presentations.
• 2+ years' experience with financial/fiscal management, including budgeting and ROI calculations.
• Proven ability to work through ambiguity and influence leadership for strategic direction.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years as a Chief of Staff for an early/mid-stage start-up.
