About the position

The Lead Director, Third Party Risk Management at CVS Health is responsible for leading the Third-Party Security Continuous Monitoring and Oversight team. This role focuses on identifying, monitoring, and managing risks associated with third-party connections and solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The Director will enhance operational effectiveness through automation and information management, driving the maturity of the third-party security program.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new sources of information to enhance understanding of security risks related to CVS Health's third parties.
  • Manage integration of continuous monitoring workstreams with the risk operations team to streamline assessments into logical activities.
  • Identify and implement reporting processes while adhering to corporate policies and industry frameworks.
  • Provide expert advice on third-party monitoring matters and facilitate necessary actions to address gaps or deficiencies.
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements and communicate relevant updates to IT and business colleagues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cyber security and information technology focusing on supply chain risk and/or third-party security risk management.
  • 5+ years of resource management experience (people and projects).
  • 5+ years of experience with security-related regulatory matters.
  • 3+ years of experience in security concepts, technologies, and functionalities in infrastructure environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Archer and/or ServiceNow.
  • Leading diverse and virtual teams to deliver results.
  • Ability to recognize risk trends and potential exposure.
  • Ability to work with business lines and subject matter experts to ensure understanding of key security controls.
