About the position

The Lead, Edge Office at Success Academy is responsible for planning, executing, and managing continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on identifying areas for process enhancement, implementing standardized systems, and ensuring that all improvements are optimized and digitized. The Lead will educate and coach employees on Edge methodologies, lead problem-solving sessions, and provide counsel to teams on best practices, ultimately driving sustainable improvements within the network of public charter schools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mastery in Edge continuous improvement processes and tools, emphasizing Problem Solving Process, Visual and Daily Management, and Transactional Process Improvement.
  • Continue to improve in-house problem-solving tools and support their adoption as the standard continuous improvement methodology.
  • Educate and coach employees on Edge principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Empower teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions and root cause analyses to resolve issues within processes.
  • Implement solutions that prevent recurring issues and create continuous improvement.
  • Drive targeted improvements by applying Edge methodologies.
  • Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of Edge initiatives.
  • Provide updates to senior management on Edge initiatives, progress, and outcomes.
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed about ongoing improvements and their impact.
  • Manage project and change management processes to drive sustainable improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations/Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in continuous improvement or a related role.
  • Experience applying Danaher Business Systems, Fortive Business Systems, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency in process mapping software and Google Suite.
  • Strong ability to interpret data, recognize trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
