About the position

The Lead Electrical Engineer for Life Sciences will be responsible for developing innovative solutions in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. This role involves executing all phases of project design, including improvements to existing buildings and new construction projects. The position is based in a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility between remote and on-site work at either the Plymouth Meeting, PA or Morrisville, NC locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of electrical engineering projects in the life sciences sector.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project phases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the life sciences or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management software.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the life sciences sector.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
