About the position

The Lead Electrical Engineer (EE) at AID will serve as the subject-matter-expert on all electrical systems, providing guidance and expertise in troubleshooting system malfunctions, reviewing maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with code requirements for building modifications. This role is critical in managing the overall capacity of electrical systems and supporting the operational needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject-matter-expert on all electrical systems.
• Advise contractor's technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
• Review preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
• Perform overall capacity management, maintaining building calculations to manage supply with loads required.
• Ensure building modifications comply with code requirements and original design.

Requirements

• Licensed and registered professional engineer.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AUTOCAD, BIM, and Revit applications and standards.
• An active DoD TS/SCI with CI poly is preferred.
• Knowledge of various preventive maintenance models.
