About the position

The Lead Electrical Engineer role at Honeywell is a senior position responsible for overseeing complex electrical engineering projects. This role involves applying advanced engineering techniques, leading project teams, and providing technical expertise to influence strategic planning and drive innovation in technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Influence strategic planning for major technical projects or multiple projects of significant scope and complexity.
• Provide significant external leadership with extensive customer and stakeholder interface.
• Advise and consult as a technical expert to other personnel to drive and implement projects.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals, schedules, and cost estimates; negotiate schedule changes as necessary.
• Lead, direct, and coordinate the work of major projects, ensuring objectives and specifications are met.
• Drive technical advances and improvements in existing technologies.
• Stay current with emerging technology and business trends to evaluate and prioritize opportunities.
• Lead, train, and mentor engineers within the electrical engineering family.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in Engineering or Physics.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.
• United States Citizenship.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
