About the position

The Lead, Energy Efficiency Program Management at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company's decarbonization strategy. This role involves tracking the performance of the decarbonization program to ensure compliance with emissions reduction targets, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing energy and sustainability projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates within the program and project level governance structures on the implementation and management of energy and sustainability projects in a timely and accurate fashion
• Communicates past, present, and future energy and emissions reduction plans and performance through formal presentations and reports
• Coordinates meetings and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project
• Supports a team of contributors that will be conducting forecasting, progress reporting and data analysis
• Conducts program stakeholder meetings, captures escalations, and proactively resolves potential issues

Requirements

• 5-7 years of program management or management consulting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science or Sustainability
• Thorough understanding of emissions, carbon reporting, renewable energy, offsets, and energy efficiency, preferably in shipping and maritime environments
• Strong people and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
• Strong ability to effectively present information
• High ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex data sets
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
• Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills
