About the position

The Lead Engineer for Application Delivery Services at Bank of America is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the Bank's Application Delivery Network (ADN). This role focuses on the Application Data Controller (ADC) and involves driving the Life Cycle Management program. The engineer will also provide level 3 on-call support for high-severity incidents, ensuring the delivery of infrastructure tools and services in alignment with architectural governance and standards. The position requires collaboration with various business lines to translate requirements into technical solutions that enhance availability, functionality, and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and delivery strategy for Application Delivery Services.
• Translate and align business requirements for the delivery of ADS services.
• Analyze and understand existing and emerging business requirements for application load balancing solutions.
• Manage multiple technical project engagements while meeting deadlines and priorities.
• Develop and optimize F5 rules.

Requirements

• 7+ years of leadership experience as a technical lead.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with F5 Networks products (LTM/GTM/ASM/AFM/SSLO).
• 5+ years of experience developing and optimizing complex F5 rules.
• 3+ years of experience with VMWare/Avi Networks.
• 5+ years of programming skills related to DNS and Load Balancing.
• Strong understanding of general network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP networking, SSL, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancing).
• Deep knowledge of diverse networking devices like Routing, Switching, Firewalls, WAF.
