About the position

The Lead Salesforce Architect/Developer at Wolters Kluwer Health will play a pivotal role in the transition to a new suite of business systems within the Clinical Effectiveness division. This position involves designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce solutions to enhance the customer experience and streamline business processes. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure secure and compliant solutions while also providing direction for improving sales and service processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect technical solutions for business problems using Salesforce technology platform.
• Work with security architects to ensure secure solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Collaborate with vendors and implementation teams to architect a complete digital experience.
• Negotiate features for the Salesforce roadmap and reduce costs with customization.
• Provide direction to Sales and Service teams to enhance digital experiences and improve business processes.
• Develop architecture and design blueprints for Salesforce solutions.
• Architect identity management solutions for customers and employees.
• Architect solutions for data analytics and provide direction for business and technical teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and develop proof of concepts.
• Present potential solutions to business leaders and negotiate viable feature functions.
• Deliver executive presentations on technology capabilities to CIO and department leaders.
• Participate in industry-level discussions and contribute to best practices.
• Evaluate products for build versus buy decisions.
• Develop a comprehensive technical roadmap for Health Enterprise Business Systems.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical roadblocks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a technology-related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in global software development and deployment.
• 8+ years of experience delivering applications on the Salesforce platform, including Sales, Service, and Commerce Cloud.
• Development knowledge of Salesforce, including Lightning Design, objects, workflows, and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience building Salesforce Lightning components, custom objects, Apex Classes, and Visualforce.
• Solid knowledge of Salesforce execution governors and limits.
• Expertise in Java, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JQuery.
• Experience working in an Agile team environment.
• Service and Sales Cloud implementation experience using Live Agent and Omni Channel.
• Background with architecture concepts and knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica.
• Understanding of Customer Journey Experience and Analytics.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of data management including Data Capture and Segmentation.
• Deep working knowledge of Cloud (AWS preferred) and understanding of DevSecOps.
• Experience with application monitoring tools and security tools like Splunk and GitHub.
