About the position

The Lead Salesforce Architect/Developer at Wolters Kluwer Health will play a pivotal role in the transition to a new suite of business systems within the Clinical Effectiveness division. This position involves designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce solutions to enhance the customer experience and streamline business processes. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure secure and compliant solutions while also providing direction for sales and service processes.

Responsibilities

  • Architect technical solutions for business problems using Salesforce technology platform.
  • Work with security architects to ensure secure solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with vendors and implementation teams to architect a complete digital experience.
  • Negotiate features for the Salesforce roadmap and reduce costs with customization.
  • Provide direction to Sales and Service teams to improve business processes and align with industry standards.
  • Develop architecture and design blueprints for Salesforce solutions.
  • Architect identity management solutions for customers and employees.
  • Architect solutions for data analytics and Einstein platforms.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and develop proof of concepts.
  • Present potential solutions to business leaders and negotiate viable feature functions.
  • Create a comprehensive technical roadmap for Health Enterprise Business Systems.
  • Serve as an escalation point for technical roadblocks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a technology-related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience in global software development and deployment.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering applications on Salesforce platform, including Sales, Service, and Commerce Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience building Salesforce Lightning components, custom objects, Apex Classes, and Triggers.
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce execution governors and limits.
  • Experience with security and web development programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JQuery.
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment.
  • Service and Sales Cloud implementation experience using Live Agent, Omni Channel, and CTI Adapters.
  • Knowledgeable in ETL tools like Informatica and integration tools like Web methods.
  • Deep working knowledge of Cloud (AWS preferred) and understanding of DevSecOps.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce community development.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring tools, log analytical tools, and security tools (e.g., Splunk, GitHub, Jenkins).
