About the position

The Lead Enterprise Data Governance Professional at Humana is a pivotal role within the Data Strategy and Governance organization, aimed at advancing the enterprise's data governance practices. This position focuses on educating and applying best practices in data governance, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance with established standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting data governance activities, influencing business partners, and enhancing risk metrics through advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Work with various Business & IT partners to drive the collection and maintenance of key business metadata including data definitions, data quality rules, and data lineage.
• Ensure data adheres to all business and enterprise standards and frameworks.
• Socialize the value of the Data Governance program, including benefits for stakeholders, rules for engagement, and enforcement of data policies and standards.
• Collaborate in the business area/data subject area by measuring performance against data governance and data stewardship KPIs and facilitating methods to address exceptions.
• Help define the support structure, processes, and mentoring for data stewardship implementation.
